This concerns the subsidiary Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN), a specialist in mobile network equipment and the installation of mobile networks. Approximately 150 people will be employed in this distribution centre, which will open its doors in October.
The Tilburg-based company DB Schenker Logistics is currently having a new logistics centre built at Vossenberg West. The name of the ‘large contracting party’ has not been released until now. It transpires that it is Nokia. The company itself does not wish to comment.
It has also come to light this week that software giant Microsoft is taking over a large stake in the company, costing 5.44 billion Euros.
